The team really have worked tirelessly for about thirteen years waiting for this site to be up and running. I appreciate that’s an insanely long time to be waiting. I’d like to say a quick ‘thank you’ to all those of you who’d popped by over the years just to see how things weren’t coming on.

Why’s it taken so long? That’s a curiously difficult question to answer. I could rattle off a load of cliches but think instead I’ll simply say lack of space.

space | speis | noun
a continuous area or expanse which is free, available, or unoccupied
an area of land which is not occupied by buildings
a blank between printed, typed, or written words, characters, numbers, etc
each of the four gaps between the five lines of a stave

Unexpectedly, a continuous expanse of space has recently opened-up in front of me. Although I do feel a bit like I’m gazing into a chasm, having space is so rare that I’m just diving in and finally creating a site for my work.

Procrastination still lingers (old habits die hard) but here I am, actually writing something rather than just thinking about writing something - a good first step.

I’m not going to write any more today - there’s suddenly too much to do.

Thank you team - I couldn’t have done it without you!
